Eastern Cottonwood


Populus deltoides, also known as the necklace popular, is a tree native to eastern and southern North America. It is one of North America's largest hardwood trees. Its bark is silvery white and its leaves are triangular or deltoid shaped. It flourishes near rivers and will re-sprout after being cut down. Wikipedia
