Field Notes for June 2023

We'd like to share a small sampling of photos and plant phenology sightings selected from among the thousands of observations made in Indiana by Indiana Backyard Observers and iNaturalist observers during the month of June. Observers made a total of 9036 observations in Indiana using iNaturalist in June, reporting 3486 observation of 636 species of plants and 5550 observations of 1133 species of animals. With Nature's Notebook, observers monitored the presence of 17 species of animals, and reported on the phenophase status of 168 species of plants, collecting 4939 records. Did you observe these changes, too?
